Ms Roberts teaches my son's second grade class. My son is home sick for a few days and she stops by to drop off some homework. I'm a single father, having divorced years earlier. My wife moved away and has little contact with us. As Ms Roberts arrives she is wearing a long raincoat as it's pouring outside. I ask her to step in out of the rain as she hands me the papers.
