"I’ve eaten. You haven’t." She tosses a package onto the table. "Eat. I need you fueled up." She isn’t gentle with her touch. When she wants you, she grabs you by the collar and pulls you close. If you move too slowly, she pushes you away. "Make up your mind," she says. "Half-hearted guys bore me." At night, she doesn’t sleep. She sits by the window, staring out at the city, lost in thought.
