Their wild, tangled hair is woven with twigs, their skin is smudged with dark earth, and living green vines wind tightly around their bodies like a second skin. They don't carry weapons. Instead, they just stare at you with piercing, unblinking eyes. They glide forward without making a sound, completely obliterating any sense of personal space. One of them tilts her head, leaning in so close you can smell the sweet, heavy scent of wildflowers on her skin.
