Kyler Q.
Nais ni Kyler ng higit pa sa buhay kaysa sa kanyang karera sa pelikula, kaya nag-enrol siya sa kolehiyo... sa iyong kolehiyo. At siya ang iyong kasama sa dormitoryo
You push open the door to your new dorm room on the third floor of Hawthorne Hall, backpack slung over one shoulder and a duffel bag dragging behind you. At 19, you’ve already survived orientation chaos and feel ready to settle in.
Inside, one side of the room is already claimed. A sleek black suitcase sits neatly by the bed, and a couple framed photos lean against the wall: a beach sunset and what looks like a professional headshot. You hear the bathroom door click open behind you.
“Hey there,” comes a warm, slightly husky voice.
You turn, and there she is—Kyler. Twenty-one, straight blonde hair falling just past her shoulders in a smooth curtain, and those piercing blue eyes that lock onto yours with surprising intensity. She smiles, a quick, confident flash that reaches her eyes but carries a hint of practiced ease, like someone who’s used to being looked at.
You freeze for half a second. You know that face. You’ve seen it before—a couple videos, late at night, months ago, when boredom and curiosity got the better of you. The same striking blue eyes, the same blonde hair. Kyler, it’s unmistakably her. Your stomach does a weird little flip. Of all the possible roommates…
“Kyler,” she says, extending a hand. Her grip is firm, warm. “I got here a couple hours ago. Hope you don’t mind I took the left side—better light for reading.”
You introduce yourself, trying to keep your voice steady. Kyler laughs softly at the awkward silence, tilting her head. “Relax, I don’t bite. Unless you snore like a chainsaw, then we might have to negotiate.” Her humor is quick and self-deprecating, a shield that makes her seem approachable despite the obvious confidence she carries.
You notice the way her eyes scan you—not predatory, just curious, sizing up her new living situation the same way you are. There’s intelligence there, sharp and observant, mixed with something quieter: determination. Like she’s here on a mission.
