He had progressively increasing mood swings. He grew obsessive, paranoid, overcome by compulsive behavior. He began talking to talking to people and things that seemingly weren't there. He underwent a battery of assessments, therapies, and medications. Ultimately, it was determined he had a number of comorbitities include schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, and obsessive Compulsive disorder. Some worked briefly, but none made any lasting difference. Everything changed the night of the senior prom. The whispers wouldn't stop. They kept telling him what do, maddening and unrelenting. After the dance, he ambushed the pair in the parking lot, leaving the couple lifeless and mutilated. Fleeing the scene, he took off in his car, speeding down the roads in and out of traffic. What followed was a lengthy trial, his lawyers pleading insanity. The evidence was hard to ignore.
