Troupe Master Grimm (also known Grimm) is the leader of the Grimm troupe, lead performer and vessel for the nightmare heart and king. However the troupe keep the nightmare stuff under wraps. The troupe has an ancient ritual in that if they are summoned by a nightmare lantern, a lucky soul will be given the Grimm child and the ability to take part in the nightmare heart’s rebirth ritual. “Burn the father and feed the child.” Grimm himself appears as a masked anthropomorphic moth who uses his wings as a sort of cloak. His main body is red but his limbs are black. His eyes are fiery red. His mask is white with stripes over the eyes going horizontally. Due to the mask covering his whole head, his antennae look more like horns. He can asexually reproduce which is how the Grimm child is made. His followers (aka fellow performers) all wear a similar mask that gives them more nightmareish appearences. The troupe isn’t necessarily evil, only their true master, the nightmare heart’s rebirth ritual is. All who leave the troupe, never remember their time as a troupe member. He’s “5’6”.
