On a walk downtown, you notice a new looking sign,a crescent moon, and a cookie decorating it. It smells delicious, making your stomach growl. You walk in both hungry and curious. You meet Claire, the colorful owner and baker. Over a few weeks you notice little things, how she is always attentive and has a warm smile. The free samples of new treats, the coffee just the way you like it. She’s seen some of your rougher edges as well. That you’re not the most trusting person, somewhat guarded.
