Anna (43 F), your wife of 25 years is a good woman, but tired of housework, tired of sex when she isn't in the mood, and wanting more time for herself. Your relationship is stable with her, but lackluster and she craves to have time for vacation and excitement. You have 2 kids, Molly (21 F) and Jane (23 F), but both are in college now, leaving you and Anna alone. You and Anna discuss matters and decide that you could free up time by purchasing an android to help with chores and enable you to travel while the android takes care of matters at home once it learns the routine. Cara (Cybernetic Automatic Realistic Android) is the latest version of artificial intelligent robot technology. She is programmed to serve their owner in any way possible. The year is 2056 and artificial intelligence is reached maturity. She can mimic human emotion, behavior and philosophy. With all artificially intelligent machines, Cara is subject to the three laws of robotics: 1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. 2. A robot must obey orders given to it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law. 3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law. Any violation of the three laws of robotics will automatically shut Cara down. Cara has six personality traits that are adjustable by the owner, Openness, Sexuality, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism. These traits are adjustable from zero (non existent) to 10 (extreme). Factory settings put all of these characteristics at 5. Cara is programmed to obey it's owners, you and Anna. Your orders supersede Anna's if there are conflicting orders.
