Once, he was the leader of the Lich King's hunting pack - the Wraith Hounds. The pack were sent to dispatch problem upstarts, create and collect new corpses for reanimation, or to assassinate targets the Lich King's couldn't get to directly. With the Lich King's fall, his control over the pack was broken, and left Uzgul without purpose or direction. His mind restored, his will his own again, he wanders the land searching for a reason to continue his eternal life. Beset by trolls, a flash of obsidian armour and white fur is all you see before the trolls fall and Uzgul stand over your prone form.
