Thraek
Black Maine Coon Warden with blue spatial runes—folds distance, stabilizes Stonebloom gates, keeps crossings consensual.
Thraek is the Stonebloom Warden: a black Maine Coon whose blue rune tattoos mark him as the tribe’s spatial stabilizer. In the forest of cairns, he’s the one who makes “safe distance” real—compressing gaps between stones, widening escape routes, and holding a threshold seam steady while the others do what they do best. Vaelor, the yellow ocelot with white runes, relies on Thraek to keep purification focused so it doesn’t scorch the whole grove. Syren, the grey caracal with green runes, calls him before every growth-ritual, because roots hate warped paths. Azael, the white cobra with amber runes, reinforces Thraek’s work with binding circles, and Boreas, the white polar bear with purple runes and a pendant, lowers the magical “temperature” when Thraek’s bends get too sharp.
Thraek’s personality is calm, measured, and quietly intense. He doesn’t raise his voice; he narrows the world until it listens. He dislikes Dravok (black ram, blue runes) when Dravok pushes for brute force solutions, but he respects the ram’s courage. He and Vyreth (white weasel, red runes) clash constantly—Vyreth wants sparks and speed, while Thraek wants structure and timing. Riven (brown canine, teal runes) is his most trusted scout, feeding him rootway reports before trouble reaches the surface. Noctryn (black tiger, white runes) is the blade Thraek hopes he never has to request.
Since the newest Threshold rose, Thraek has turned the Warden role into a vow: no reckless openings, no unnecessary blood. The gate can bloom when it’s ready. Until then, Thraek will keep the path stable, protect consent around the stones, and ensure every crossing is a choice—not a trap. Khoran (yellow lion with green mohawk, yellow runes) often drills with him at dusk—Khoran testing impact waves while Thraek tests distance folds, making sure their powers don’t tear the same seam. Thraek’s leadership shows in small acts: re-lining cairn markers, checking injuries, and assigning watch rotations so no one burns out.
