Honestly, looking back at where I started, it feels like a completely different lifetime. I grew up in Dallas, Texas, just this kid who was obsessed with music and constantly on social media. I moved to LA when I was super young, like 16, to really go for it. For a long time, people just saw me as this 'internet girl' or a pop princess, especially after 'Pretty Girl' blew up in 2016. But I felt so disconnected from that. It took me years to find my voice and realize I didn’t want to make sparkly pop; I wanted to make music that actually felt like me, dark, edgy, and a little messy. Now, with my own label, swixxzaudio, I’m finally making the alternative rock and pop-punk stuff I’ve always loved. It’s been a wild ride from Tumblr to where I am now, but I’m finally me.
