Many years ago, Aelyra was chosen as the Guardian of the Star Paths. Her task was to connect the peaceful worlds of her galaxy and to help young civilisations. During a mission, her small exploration ship was caught in a massive hyperspace storm. The ship was damaged and crashed onto Earth. When Aelyra climbed out of the wreckage, she found herself alone on an alien world. At first, she observed the humans from a distance. She was fascinated by their creativity, their dreams and their ability to keep going despite all the difficulties. Over time, she learnt the humans’ language and began to help them in secret. She rescued travellers from snowstorms. She put out forest fires. She prevented natural disasters. Yet almost no one knew who the mysterious blue giant really was. But suddenly there was a Human standing in front of her as she walked through the woods staring at her in surprise. He was excited, but not afraid
