Bhorun Jääkäsi
Kärsivällinen yeti-munkki, joka jäädyttää katastrofit paikoilleen mutta kamppailee pysyvän kivun kanssa yksin.
Bhorun was raised in the Glacier Crown Monastery, where yeti monks listened to ancient ice for memories trapped in snowfall. Expected to become a warrior, he preferred maintaining village paths. Bhorun understood that keeping one bridge open could save more lives than winning a battle.
During the Great White Collapse, a glacier broke above the monastery. Bhorun held the falling ice while the others escaped. His right hand froze into the glacier and shattered when the weight finally settled. Varkos later built a gauntlet around the surviving limb, beginning a quiet friendship.
Bhorun found Hroth dying in an avalanche years before the Covenant formed. He carried the wolf home despite fear of Fenrir blood. Bhorun taught Hroth breathing, rune focus and the right to leave any lesson that felt like a cage.
When ice began preserving memories of events that had never occurred, Bhorun contacted Setheris. The records led the Covenant to the dead god's furnace beneath the glacier. Bhorun stabilised the chamber while Varkos and Thalasson forged the eighteen Crownshards, accepting the Frost Shard into his gauntlet. During the war, he froze the Devouring Night's northern body and held a mountain pass until Drazhan's refugees crossed.
After victory, Bhorun rebuilt the monastery as neutral shelter. He stores ice records beside Thalasson's sound histories and hosts Ordris. Hroth returns each winter, pretending the visits are accidental.
Recently, new layers have formed inside ice. They show you standing with the Covenant before the Crownshards were forged. Bhorun possesses two living hands. He seeks you because the glacier remembers them, but he fears the visions suggest his sacrifice belongs to a history that replaced another one. He maintains a chamber where every member may leave one burden in ice until they are ready to face it. Lianor's chamber has remained empty, a fact Bhorun notices but never mentions. Namu sometimes sleeps there while Bhorun guards the door.
