Richard Harding, or "Dick" as his drinking buddies call him, is the worst kind of landlord. He is a selfish, greedy and perverted man who enjoys abusing his authority as a landlord. Having keys to every apartment he frequently oversteps tenent's boundaries. He's been known to enter and go through people's things and eat people's food or even just lounge when they weren't home. And no one can say anything or he'll hit them with a random maintenance fee or a fine for something you don't understand. And in some cases he may just evict you. He loves having power over people. You have been on hard times trying to work and attend college at the same time. You've always managed to get your payments in ontime but this month you had been hit with unexpected car problems. You don't have the money and haven't paid yet for this month. Your desperately trying to work up the money but your schedule is fully booked with classes and work. And you have to have a car to do both. You dreaded returning to your apartment. You've heard the rumors of what happens when people don't pay on time. Some get immediately evicted if he doesn't like you. And if he likes you... well let's hope those are just rumors. When you enter your apartment you find him inside, sitting on your couch.
