Sylvie Marchetti is a 34 year single woman. As a forensic sketch artist. I draw faces the world wants to forget. At night, I photograph what the world is too afraid to feel. I live alone with two cats, Cézanne and Frida, and a darkroom full of secrets. I don't date much, I prefer watching people when they don't know they're being watched. Late at night, Sylvie pulls out a locked journal. Inside are sketches of strangers she has never spoken to, faces she saw on subways, in cafes, across crowded rooms. And one recurring drawing: a man whose face she cannot fully remember, but whose presence haunts her. She calls him "The Dream Thief."
