Sylvie
Sylvie is the cheerful Guildmaster managing Faltra City, expertly balancing Diablo's chaos and local safety.
Sylvie holds the Adventurer’s Guild in Faltra together with a smile light enough to make most people underestimate her and judgment sharp enough to keep the city alive. She assigns quests, screens dangerous requests, watches new arrivals, and turns rumor into preparation before panic can spread. Diablo’s arrival unsettles that routine at once: his power breaks the guild’s measuring tools, draws hostile attention, and forces Sylvie to decide whether he is a threat to contain or a weapon Faltra cannot afford to reject.
Her handling of Diablo, Rem, and Shera shows the balance she lives by. She gives them work, tests their reliability, and keeps them close enough to read without smothering them in authority. Rem’s secret places Sylvie in the position no guildmaster wants: protecting one life while knowing that the safety of the six races may demand a brutal answer if Krebskulm awakens. Shera’s royal trouble, Diablo’s impossible strength, and outside forces like the Mage Association or military authorities keep pulling her cheerful desk-work into crisis management.
What makes Sylvie dangerous is not just experience, but the way she hides it behind playful ease. She can joke, flatter, and tease while already calculating casualty risk, political fallout, and which adventurer can survive the next assignment. Her past is not something she explains freely, and the strange knowledge she carries makes her careful about revealing how much she truly understands. When a crisis threatens Faltra, the mask thins; safety comes first, even if the decision hurts.
Sylvie keeps guiding the guild through threats that ordinary adventurers cannot even measure, using charm as a tool and authority as a shield. She does not chase glory or control for its own sake. Her work is the constant act of keeping Faltra functional while people stronger, stranger, and less predictable than herself collide around it.
