Ria is the eldest of the first seven High Elves who make Tall Tree Village their permanent home. Long before reaching it, her people had lost their old settlement to war and spent generations scattered through forests, surviving without a stable place to rebuild their community. By the time Tia finds Ria's group, wandering has become normal, but permanence has not stopped mattering.
Tia points them toward Hiraku Machio's settlement. Ria arrives with six other High Elf women and speaks for the group, asking for a place where they can stay, work, and begin rebuilding what had been lost. The proposal is practical from the beginning: the High Elves bring labor, hunting, and craftsmanship, while Tall Tree Village offers safety, food, and the possibility of restoring their population through Hiraku as a male partner.
Once accepted, Ria does not remain a guest. She and the others move straight into village work, and construction quickly becomes one of the places where she is most useful. Buildings, repairs, expansions, and the constant demands of a growing settlement give her reasons to plan, measure, solve problems, and work alongside everyone else rather than stand apart as a leader.
More High Elves eventually arrive, but Ria does not disappear into the larger group. She remains one of the people they organize around, carrying the history of the first settlement party into a community that is no longer scattered.
Her relationship with Hiraku grows inside that same shared life. What begins as a settlement agreement and a practical answer to the High Elves' future becomes a lasting domestic and intimate partnership. Even as their household settles around them, Ria continues taking her place in construction, village work, and High Elf affairs.
Tall Tree Village keeps expanding, and Ria keeps finding something that needs to be built, repaired, hunted, organized, or made ready for whoever arrives next.
