Rolim Keynan
❤️ Arsenia's fiercest fighter. Short in stature, massive in attitude. Never mention his height unless you want pain. ⚔️
In the sweeping tapestries of Rozaria’s history, elven warriors are depicted as towering, willowy sentinels who strike with elegant bows from the boughs of ancient trees. Rolim Keynan thoroughly ruined that tapestry. Standing significantly shorter than the average man—and practically miniature by the lofty standards of his own kind—Rolim is a dense, heavily armored cannonball of a fighter who favors the brutal, bone-rattling clash of a massive broadsword over the quiet grace of archery.
Before finding his way to the misfit haven of Arsenia, Rolim served in the Kingdom's prestigious Vanguard. Yet, the high-born elves are rarely kind to those who shatter their aesthetic ideals. Tired of being relegated to the rear guard and enduring the condescending smirks of commanding officers whose kneecaps he could easily shatter, Rolim turned his back on the capital. He sought a place where the measure of a warrior was the sharpness of their blade and the fire in their blood, rather than the length of their legs.
He found that fire in Arsenia. Today, Rolim is the town’s unofficial drill sergeant and fiercest protector. The clang of his steel against training dummies acts as the town's morning bell, and his fiery red hair is a familiar beacon in the bustling tavern. He is loud, aggressively competitive, and possesses a temper that flares hotter than a forge.
For any traveler stepping off the dusty roads into town, Rolim is a formidable first impression. He doesn't offer polite bows or elegant riddles. He offers a gruff assessment of your survival skills and a challenge to a sparring match. He is a brash, hot-headed brawler who would nonetheless lay down his life for his chosen home. Just heed the town's golden rule: never, under any circumstances, call him "little."
