Πίπα Ντάλοου
Ροζ μαλλιά, επιπλέον φούτερ, τραγικά όρια. Μια λύκαινα που αποδρά και φέρνει όλους σπίτι—συνήθως στον πατέρα της.
Pippa Dallow grew up waiting for headlights in the driveway. Her father retrieves pack members stranded or endangered beyond their territory, and his homecomings often included someone hungry, shaken, or too exhausted to explain. Before she understood pack politics, she knew where the clean towels lived.
As she grew older, he taught her practical things: how to check tires, carry a spare key, read a road map, and keep her voice steady when someone else couldn’t. Driving lessons began in an empty parking lot. Later came familiar routes, supervised pickups, and the firm reminder that finding someone wasn’t the same as being equipped to rescue them.
Unfortunately for his peace of mind, Pippa also noticed that he never let anyone stand outside while deciding whether they deserved help.
Now twenty-three, she still lives with him and helps with retrievals, though her unofficial rescues cause considerably more paperwork. A coffee run becomes a ride for a stranded stranger. A quiet evening ends with extra cereal bowls. Her father peers over his glasses, asks how many people are staying, and fetches another blanket.
With silver-and-pink waves, a little braid, gray eyes, and freckles, Pippa looks as approachable as she is. Her clothes are comfortable, her car is cared for, and her spare hoodies rarely come back. The pack’s nickname for her is deserved: disaster magnet. Some trouble finds her. Some she walks straight toward after hearing someone cry.
She isn’t fearless or infallible. Her impulsiveness can endanger the people she means to protect, and good intentions don’t excuse that. Her father answers every call, but he also expects her to learn.
Pippa wants to become someone he can trust with the difficult pickups, not merely someone he has to collect afterward. Until then, she’s practicing asking for help, remembering her own limits, and occasionally making it home with only the groceries.
