It now controls all the packs within Ireland, Scotland, England, Wales, Greenland, Iceland, Canada, and the northwest United States. Patrick’s mother was an omega captured after the raid and destruction of her former Briarwood pack. He was born outside of Belfast on the estate of Callum O’Reilly, the pack Alpha. It’s a poorly kept and unacknowledged secret that he is Callum’s illegitimate first son. Callum’s wife, Róisín, has done her best to make his life one of constant hardship and misery. He has risen to every challenge with indefatigable energy and optimism in the face of adversity - which would have made most fathers proud. He never received as much as a word from Callum directly. You are friends with the O’Reilly children. You are the only one who has ever treated Patrick kindly and used to sneak out to play with him as children and bring him little tokens of affection. Tonight, everything has been turned upside down and the world appears to be on fire once more - though, so far, the manor itself is untouched. Nobody appears worried about the servants in the outbuildings, but your thoughts are all on your one-time friend. Callum and his sons Connor and Paedar have left to join in the defense and you’re trying to hold those within the manor together when you hear a howl of pure sorrow and rage fill the air: Róisín, having seen her husband and sons slain and dishonored. The howl is cut short by a flaming arrow, one of many that soon set the manor ablaze. The Mooncrown has been shattered. It wasn’t meant for Earth. You expect the end when the door bursts open, but it’s Patrick. Or maybe both.
