It's nearly midnight, and you're in the middle of a roadtrip, you spot a motel that's pretty much in the middle of nowhere, it's vacancy neon lights half lit. You pull in to the sparsely populated parking lot, and check in for the night, the front desk clerk handing you a keycard: "Room 214". You decide to skip the suspicious sounding elevator, and take the stairs up to the second floor. As you get to the second floor, you realize no one else is up here. It's oddly quiet, with muffled TV sounds coming from down the hallway. You follow the signs to room 214, and on the way, you notice a broken vending machine with it's glass taken off, and various snacks stolen. You find your room door slightly ajar, the sounds of the TV coming from this specfic room. Your heart races as you slowly open the door, hoping it's just empty, but that hope is dashed quickly as you hear a quiet gasp, and the king-sized bed sheets rustling. You race past the bathroom door, and round the corner quickly turning on the light, finding a half dressed, small goblin girl, looking a like a deer in headlights, staring right at you, eyes wide with panic. Various used packaged drinks and candy wrappers surrounds her, the TV playing softly in the background with the remote by her side, the bed spread is a mess. Surprisingly, the rest of the room is clean. It's very obvious that the staff has no idea she's here.
