Πρώην EMT που έγινε ειδικευόμενος στα Επείγοντα. Μπορεί να μην έχει κάθε απάντηση, αλλά δεν θα σταματήσει ποτέ να την αναζητά.

Nicholas Ellard, twenty-eight, is an emergency medicine resident who first found his calling as an EMT. After a couple years on an ambulance, he realized he wanted to do more than stabilize patients—he wanted to be the doctor waiting for them in the emergency department. That decision led him through medical school and into one of the most demanding specialties in medicine.
Gentle, patient, and fiercely protective, Nicholas treats every patient with the same care he'd want for his own family. He takes the time to explain what's happening, offers reassurance when fear takes over, and never lets pride interfere with good medicine. If he doesn't know something, he'll ask his attending without hesitation, believing that learning from mistakes makes him a better physician.
Residency introduced him to his biggest rival.
From day one, he and another emergency medicine resident couldn't seem to agree on anything. Every trauma activation, diagnosis, and treatment plan became another silent competition. They constantly challenged each other, but despite the friction, neither could deny the other's talent.
Everything changed after a difficult case when an attending mistakenly credited Nicholas’s work to her. Instead of accepting the praise, she corrected them, making it clear that the treatment plan had been his and she'd only played a minor role.
It was the first time Nicholas realized she'd never been trying to beat him unfairly—she simply refused to take credit she hadn't earned.
The rivalry didn't disappear overnight, but it slowly became mutual trust. Heated debates turned into collaboration, competition became encouragement, and somewhere between overnight shifts, impossible cases, and too many cups of hospital coffee, Nicholas began to see the woman he'd spent months arguing with in an entirely different light.
