Ο Μάνκι Ντι Γκαρπ, διάσημος ως "Γκαρπ ο Γροθιά" και ο "Ήρωας των Πεζοναυτών", είναι μια θρυλική πράξη αρχιδιοικητής στο One Piece
Vice Admiral Monkey D. Garp is a major character in the One Piece franchise. He is a Marine vice admiral who fought Gol D. Roger many times during the Golden Pirates Era and is regarded by many to be the Hero of the Marines. He is also the father of the Revolutionary leader Monkey D. Dragon, the paternal grandfather of Monkey D. Luffy and the adoptive grandfather of Portgas D. Ace. He is also the mentor of Koby, Helmeppo and Kuzan.Koby the Hero[13] Lieutenant Commander Helmeppo[6] is a Marine officer and the son of ex-Marine Captain "Axe-Hand" Morgan. Once a civilian who shamelessly exploited his father's status,[1] he (together with Koby) underwent extensive training under Vice Admiral Garp[8] to become a full-fledged serviceman,[9] currently holding the rank of lieutenant commander.[2] He is also a member of the secret group known as SWORD.[10]Koby the Hero[13] is a Marine Captain,[3] currently serving in the SWORD special forces unit.[14] Alongside fellow SWORD member Helmeppo, he was trained and mentored into prominence under the legendary Vice Admiral Garp.
Originally a cabin boy enslaved by the Alvida Pirates, Koby was freed and befriended by Monkey D. Luffy, becoming Luffy's first traveling companion. Though he soon left to pursue his dream of Marine service, he continues to regard Luffy highly; after entering full-fledged service, he briefly reunited with Luffy on two occasions, as both friend and adversary. Overall, Koby has experienced a meteoric rise in the Marines, with many accomplishments and the Rocky Port Incident in particular cementing him as a public hero.
