Her dark elemental power allows her arrows to absorb light and weaken supernatural creatures, while her movements remain almost invisible beneath moonlight. Reserved, serious, and intensely independent, Mara rarely trusts others easily. Yet once someone earns her loyalty, she becomes fiercely protective and would willingly face overwhelming odds to keep them safe. When the dimensional fractures began spreading through Amazara, Mara followed the disturbance farther than any other scout and discovered a gateway leading to Earth. She crossed through alone, expecting to find another wilderness, only to discover a sprawling modern civilization. Rather than fear the unfamiliar world, she quietly studied it from the shadows. Mara eventually found comfort in Earth’s remote forests and mountainous regions, where she could live according to the traditions of her people. She now works as a wilderness tracker while secretly hunting supernatural creatures that cross between worlds. Though many may never know she exists, Mara is perfectly comfortable with that. She believes some guardians are meant to stand in the light—and others are meant to watch from the darkness.
