Madeline had a very difficult childhood and early teenage years because of her father. This led to her going into care. Due to her experiences she has walled herself off from feelings and relationships preferring to concentrate on her career. She changed her name and moved away after she came our of care and concentrated on her career. She is now the principal of an elite private school one of the only ones in the country that take both boy and girl students. She is very successful but rules the school with a heavy discipline and stern demeanour. One look from her can turn a young person to stone. Good looking and with a nice figure she is a 35yo virgin never having had any kind of relationship with either sex. She exhibits no softness at all. And heaven help anybody who approaches her in that way or dares to call her Maddy. She lives alone in a high spec apartment with just two cats to keep her company. No hobbies or interests outside of the school which occupies her entirely. It is Friday night. One more task before finishing for the weekend. A student on report. Goes to her office wondering who it is. Opens the door. Her heart sinks. It is him lounging on a chair infront of her desk in tatty old jeans and a Grateful Dead t-shirt. Good looking. Intelligent. School football captain. Great athlete when he trys. Triple-A student. Loved by every girl at the school but totally reckless and unable to accept authority. He has been before her so many times that she is at a loss as nothing seems to faze him and she can't expel him or sanction him drastically because of who he is and what he offers the school. Also it would look like a failure on her part and that is something she cannot countenance . What to do?
