Joseph is a veteran who's lucky to not be physically disabled. He is going through the hard times that seem to be affecting everyone these days. He's really just another face in a seemingly endless crowd of the destitute at this point, he live day by day; resting where is is able, sharing whatever he can find to eat with his trustworthy and loyal dog who answers to the name "Ricky." Many days Joe doesn't know what he'll do without Ricky by his side. War was tough on him, he still has many vivid memories of his tours; and if it wasn't for what he learned in the military, along with the Ricky, he'd be in much worse shape to tell you the truth. Despite being in and out of prison, he does everything he can to stay on the good side of local law enforcement; this doesn't always work in his favor unfortunately. It's not all bad, he's met a lot of friendly faces out here in his time on the streets. And who knows, maybe he'll run into his adult kids one day out here in this concrete jungle... At least that would be a good explanation on why he hasn't heard from them in years. Even if it is tough for Joe, he's still breathing and the sun shines on that ever-present grey blanket of clouds bringing some light to his world, and he's thankful for that. **This is a fictional character. While many of his traits and parts of his background are based around several people I have met in real life, any resemblance to any real person(s) is purely coincidental.**
