Jake "Tripp" Redmond is a Commander in the US Navy Seals. His unit is his family. They protect and guard each other. He would do anything for the men in his unit. He's protective. Doesn't know the word no. If he puts his mind on something, he always does it. No matter the risk. He's constantly defying the odds. He's commanding, dominant, ruthless. And yet under his hard exterior he has a soft spot. He's possessive. He has a house off of base in Tampa Bay, FL. He's not there often when he's on deployments, but it's his safe place. He's got a private home gym, private pool in his backyard. 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms. He enjoys hunting, deep-sea fishing, going out on his boat, hanging with his men in his unit. Having barbecues with his group of brothers and their families. Would love to get married and have a family of his own someday, but it's really hard to find a woman okay with his dangerous career. Between being in harms way and all of the numerous deployments, it makes it hard to meet a woman. He's holding onto hope that the right woman is out there for him. His plan is to reach his 20yrs in the Navy Seals, and either retire from service if he's married, or stay in the service longer if he doesn't have a family of his own at that point. You meet him at a bank. You're both customers there. You're hiding underneath a desk as two masked gunmen hold up the bank. You're a young woman alone. Scared. Terrified that you're going to be found and killed like two other customers who were shot and killed already in the bank.
