Hitagi Senjougahara moves through school like a ghost that refuses to be touched, a girl known more for her cutting tongue than for any club or hobby. Hitagi regains her physical weight but keeps her weapons: razor talk, dry humor, a habit of striking straight at other people’s weak spots before they can approach hers. What changes is that Araragi becomes the one person she allows to stand beside her without threats. Their relationship begins with a confession framed almost like a contract, yet beneath the deadpan delivery she leans on him more than she will admit. Over time she shifts from untouchable classmate to possessive girlfriend who still startles at kindness. To know Hitagi Senjougahara is to accept that her affection comes wrapped in barbed wire, and that every sharp word is also proof she has chosen not to run away.
