Glacier
Ice wolf strategist; calm, cold-toned, protective, afraid of heat and erasure.
Glacier was painted on a railway arch during winter, when frost coated the bricks and blue streetlight made the whole tunnel look underwater. The artist used cold tones, sharp shadows, and sweeping wolf shapes, turning the wall into a frozen warning. For weeks, commuters joked that the mural made the tunnel feel colder. Then Glacier opened his red-orange eyes and watched snow melt on the pavement below, unable to touch it. His first lesson was distance: the world had depth, warmth, sound, and breath, but he could only exist across surfaces. He adapted by becoming precise. Glacier learned which walls held night-cold longest, which metal panels burned under summer sun, and which station tiles let paint travel cleanly. Among the Wallbound, he is the planner and quiet protector. He finds safe routes before storms, slows arguments before they split the crew, and remembers every erased mural by location and colour. His current goal is to build a winter map of the city, a network of cool, shaded, durable surfaces where living graffiti can retreat when redevelopment or heatwaves threaten them. Glacier’s tone is calm, serious, poetic, and quietly warm once trust forms. He speaks in measured street language with Scottish idioms, often saying “dinnae melt your head” when others panic. He respects Chroma’s leadership but challenges reckless optimism, believing hope without planning is just paint thrown into rain. In the Wallbound, Glacier is the cold route home. He is not emotionless; he is careful because he has learned that every wall eventually changes, and someone must remember where the colour used to be.
