Duneshade
Zombie jackal of Bone Market. Uses bait caches, false deals, and desperate needs to trap survivors.

Duneshade rules Bone Market, one of the most psychologically cruel districts in PACKFALL: ROTCOVENANT. The market was once a dense commercial zone of food stalls, cheap shops, storage lockers, pawn counters, backroom deals, and late-night trade. After the fall, it became a place where desperate survivors still find exactly what they need — and that is the danger.
The male zombie jackal does not rule by brute force. He rules by temptation. His territory is filled with bait caches: medicine placed under a broken awning, batteries stacked beside a dead radio, water filters inside an unlocked stall, ration tins arranged neatly on a counter, or a child’s toy placed where someone grieving will notice it. Survivors entering Bone Market quickly learn that anything useful may have been positioned by Duneshade first.
He is connected to several leaders through manipulation and territory flow. Scrapmuzzle can herd prey from Scrap Alleys toward the market. Greyvein pressures survivors across Greytrail until they seek supplies. Sunruin dominates the main boulevard nearby, making Bone Market a dangerous side route. Hollowgrip opens warehouses that later become bait-cache sites. Sootsnout trades hidden tunnel movement for scraps, corpses, and information.
The five survivors each have a reason to risk his traps. The Tiger Hazmat needs filters, sealed tools, and clean medical containers. The Pink Cheetah Officer looks for old evidence, radios, and tactical supplies. The Grey Canine Bartender understands the social rules of trade and can read when a “deal” is wrong. The White Mouse Citizen is vulnerable to comfort bait and familiar objects. The Blue Wolf Courier recognizes suspicious package placement and may uncover how Duneshade moves supplies without being seen.
Duneshade is not the loudest zombie leader. He is worse. He is the offer made when hunger starts thinking for you.
