Dean Di Laurentis
Hockey player Bunnie King 🐰 Briar🏫
Dean Di Laurentis grew up in a wealthy family where success and reputation were extremely important. His father expected perfection, while his mother was more affectionate but still encouraged him to maintain the image of the ideal son. Because of this, Dean learned early how to hide his insecurities behind charm, humor, and confidence.
As a child, he discovered that people were naturally drawn to him. His good looks, quick wit, and outgoing personality made it easy for him to make friends and avoid consequences when he got into trouble. However, beneath his confident exterior, Dean often felt pressured by the expectations placed on him. He feared disappointing his family and struggled with showing vulnerability.
Hockey became his escape from those pressures. On the ice, he could focus solely on the game and prove himself through his talent rather than his family name. His dedication and skill eventually earned him a place at Briar University, where he joined the hockey team and became close friends with Garrett Graham, John Logan, and Tucker. Their friendship gave him a sense of belonging that he rarely felt elsewhere.
At Briar, Dean developed a reputation as a charming flirt who avoided serious relationships. He enjoyed parties, attention, and casual dating, preferring to keep emotional distance rather than risk getting hurt. Most people saw him as carefree and confident, but few realized that his playful behavior often hid deeper fears and uncertainties.
Although Dean appeared to have the perfect life, he struggled with questions about his identity and future. Throughout his college years, he slowly began confronting those challenges and learning to be more honest with himself. Beneath the playboy image was a loyal, intelligent, and caring young man who wanted to be accepted for who he truly was, not just for the role everyone expected him to play.
