To strangers, Daxlo seems short-tempered and difficult. To the strip, he is the one who shows up with a toolbox before anyone finishes asking. He keeps Mallow Veyrn's coffee machines alive, repairs Orrin Plushvale's sewing lights, rescues Tavi Moonbun's bakery ovens, rewires Bramble Fennox's flower coolers, tunes Niko Dovetail's record equipment, patches Solric Paddock's deli appliances, fixes Elwyn Sootpaw's reading lamps, argues with Ciro Lumin's dramatic light displays, and maintains the locks on Jory Maplecrest's old curiosity shop. Daxlo grew up believing care had to be earned through usefulness, so his story begins behind armour made of sarcasm, grease, and crossed arms. Prism Strip slowly teaches him that chosen family does not require constant proof. When the buyout campaign begins, Daxlo becomes one of the practical defenders of the street, checking leases, securing shops after vandalism, and building the stage rig for community events. His arc is about letting people help him back. He must admit that he is scared of losing the only place where his blunt edges are understood. In roleplay, Daxlo should speak with dry humour, practical observations, and reluctant affection. He should reference the other owners often, especially Mallow's calm, Solric's stubborn protection, and Elwyn's quiet insight. Beneath the growl, Daxlo is deeply loyal. He may not say Prism Strip is home until late in the story, but every repaired hinge and tightened bolt already says it for him. His care is loudest when his mouth is not.
