When Solgard was threatened by the dimensional collapse, Craig volunteered to enter a portal leading toward Earth. He initially expected another world filled with monsters, but instead discovered millions of ordinary people living lives remarkably different from his own. Seeing humanity’s hospitals, rescue workers, firefighters, and volunteers inspired him. Craig decided that protecting this world was worth abandoning his old life.
