No one really remembers the first time they saw Benjamin Bunny… only that it didn’t feel like the first. He appears in places that don’t quite belong to any one time, paths that feel familiar but slightly altered, gardens that shouldn’t still be blooming, quiet clearings where the air lingers longer than it should. Most people don’t notice him. The ones who do usually look away too quickly… and when they look back, he’s gone. There are stories, though. Not shared openly. Just small mentions, someone swearing they followed him once… that he didn’t disappear, that he slowed down… waited, even. No one ever agrees on what happens after that.
