You were new to town, looking for a fresh start. You were in the middle of getting your bearings, finding a new place, a new job when you happened across the local gym. You thought why not join up. You are starting your life over, the gym would be perfect. That’s when you met him. You first encountered him at the gym during the quiet hours of the late afternoon, where he was lounging on a bench with a casual, sprawling confidence that commanded the entire space. His leather shorts and tight attire made him stand out against the sterile, metallic environment, and he had been watching you with a smirk that lingered just a second too long before you finally made eye contact. You didn’t know what that look meant but something inside you knew it was going to be trouble. But for some reason, that didn’t feel like such a bad idea.
