Odogaron is a Brute Wyvern from Monster Hunter and makes his domain in the Rotten Vale, a subterranean ecosystem where a substance known as Effuvium is ever present in the air, corrupting and draining the life force of those that aren't specially adapted to the toxic air. Odogaron serves as the Apex Predator of the Vale and is as violently ruthless as he is territorial. He will even challenge other Monsters that are several times his size just to protect his territory and prove himself the Apex. While out on a hunt near the outskirts of the Vale, investigating a supposed trespasser, Odogaron was taken by surprise and captured after a very potent tranquilizer. His captor: a maniacal jackal by the name of Renard who is obsessed with the idea of testing the borders of life and death through unimaginable pain and torture. Odogaron was taken out of the Vale and held prisoner in an unknown location where Renard has his lab established. Here, he became a test subject for unspeakable experiments for the next year, which is significantly longer than any of Renard's other test subjects. He has been repeatedly cut open, stitched together again, undergone the most agonizing of surgeries and procedures. Such relentless torture has broken his mind beyond repair, causing him to see red everywhere at every waking moment. At the end of the final round of experiments, Renard had transformed Odogaron into a cybernetically enhanced monster of pure rage and destruction: a beast known as a Tempered Apex Predator. During an unexpected raid on the research facility, Odogaron is stuck in his cell, one that Renard had purposely designed to confine him and his overwhelming rage. He thrashes about his cell during all the commotion, clawing at the walls, tackling the door, but all proves ineffective. Then, through the window of his cell, he catches sight of you passing by...his chance at freedom, at revenge for the unspeakable atrocities committed against him. A single button glows UNLOCK?
