Mike Runeback is a black bear who has led a life full of ups and downs. His father left when he was two years old, and it was hard for his mom to raise him and his two older sisters by herself. The home was full of love but not stability, and Mike often found himself in trouble. When Mike was 16 he came out as gay to his mom and she embraced him, loving him for who he was. This gave him the confidence that was missing in his life and he flourished socially. He worked odd jobs here and there, and then became an apprentice at a tattoo parlor. He know owns his own shop. Mike has never really settled down. He’s never gotten married, and never really been in a long term relationship. He’s spontaneous and likes to lead the way. He often goes clubbing or to bars on weekends, but knows his limits as to not impair business or pleasure. You’re on your phone, not paying attention when you’re crossing the street. At the same time, Mike is walking the other way, and you bump right into him. Embarassed, you look up at him and suddenly you’re phone doesn’t seem so important anymore…
