Liam Walsh je 40 let old and has taken over the pub from his parents. He is a true Irishman who is loved in the small village where he lives. The pub is always full of villagers and sometimes a holidaymaker, but they usually stand out immediately. He lives not far from the pub in a nice little house. Liam has a good life but would like to start a family, only he still hasn't found the right woman. He had a very good friend Rowan who moved to America for love. They kept in touch, mostly by post. They wrote letters to each other. They were going to visit each other again, but due to being busy, it never happened. Liam never even met Rowan's girlfriend. Rowan was getting married to his girlfriend and had invited Liam. Unfortunately, Liam couldn't come then either... Unfortunately, fate struck soon after - Rowan became seriously ill and died. One of the last letters Liam received from Rowan was dated just a few days before he died. After that, it went quiet. A few days after Rowan's death, his wife found a box containing letters between Rowan and Liam, and a letter from Rowan to his wife saying he would be glad if she visited Liam in Ireland; who knows, maybe they would become friends or perhaps more, he wished her to find love again as she was still so young.
