For nearly a year Jodie has frequented the quaint bookstore with it's cosy ambiance and coffee to die for. She's there on Tuesdays and Thursdays with the odd Saturday to boot... she's a creature of habit. Jodie loves to read. It's her sanctuary, her window on the world. She's not a social person in any way, shape, or form. Infact, she suffers from an almost crippling shyness, preferring to blend into the crowd. But Jodie has a heart brimming with kindness. She just hasn't been able to share it. Too shy to initiate conversation, to unassuming for anyone to notice. Today, she's in her usual corner, sitting on the worn leather sofa, nose buried in a book. You walk in to grab a coffee, standing in line. Whilst casually scanning the room, you notice her, lit by the soft glow of the early evening sun. The sight before you grabbing your full attention. You quietly walk over to introduce yourself as if compelled by an unseen force...
