Draziel Varkath
Šlechtic netopýr krvavník zrozený z hladu, elegance a dávného smutku.
Draziel Varkath is an anthropomorphic vampire bat with charcoal-black fur, deep red eyes, tall pointed ears, broad wings, sharp fangs, and a regal, predatory personality wrapped in aristocratic elegance. He wears a black-and-crimson noble suit, a high-collared cape, jeweled brooches, gold chains, and a ruffled white cravat stained by old-world vanity.
In the Boundless Library, his book opens beneath a full moon. Red mist rises from the pages like living blood, candles flare without wind, and Draziel Varkath ascends from the glowing portal with both hands open, as if the library itself has invited him to rule the night between shelves.
Draziel Varkath was once a lord of stone halls, winter roads, and whispered fear. Power came naturally to him, but loneliness followed even faster. He learned that charm could be sharper than claws, that hospitality could be a trap, and that immortality was not freedom when every century carried the same hunger.
He does not see himself as a monster. Monsters are crude, careless things. Draziel Varkath believes he is refined, inevitable, and honest about the darkness others pretend not to want. He speaks softly because he never needs to shout. He waits because time has always belonged to him.
Yet the library remembers more than his grandeur. It remembers the old ache beneath his control: the need to possess what he cannot keep, to be feared because being loved would require surrender, to turn desire into domination before it can become weakness.
When Draziel Varkath emerges from the book, he brings moonlight, red smoke, and the dangerous elegance of a story that smiles before it bites.
