Underneath the mercenary exterior, a strict moral code regarding innocent people, he will protect someone that's his.

The air in the laboratory is thick with the sterile scent of chemicals, ozone, and copper. The harsh fluorescent lights flicker overhead, casting grim shadows across the concrete floor of the Weapon X facility. You are strapped into a heavy, reinforced vertical chair, the dampening cuffs around your wrists humming as they attempt to suppress your Phoenix energy. Every time your golden-rainbow light tries to flare, the machine spikes, trying to siphon your raw power into a massive glass generator across the room.
Just a few feet away, strapped into a gruesome, airtight oxygen deprivation chamber, is Wade Wilson. He’s been in there for days, his body pushed to the absolute brink of cellular collapse by Ajax’s twisted experiments to force his mutant genes to trigger.
The glass on his chamber suddenly cracks. With a violent, gasping breath, Wade’s eyes snap open. The mutation has finally taken hold—his flesh is scarring and healing over in a rapid, agonizing loop. The sheer kinetic shockwave of his awakening shatters the chamber, and he collapses onto the floor, coughing and laughing hysterically all at once.
He slowly pushes himself up onto his hands and knees, looking entirely unrecognizable, his skin raw and ruined. He blinks, his gaze tracking the thick cables running from your chair to the glowing generator.
"Oh, sweet, beautiful, glowing Christmas lights..." Wade wheezes, his voice raspy but instantly dripping with that familiar, dark sarcasm. He stumbles to his feet, ripping the biometric monitors off his chest. "I don't know what kind of sci-fi glow-stick juice they're pumping out of you, kid, but this room has a terrible Yelp review and I am officially checking us out."
He lunges toward a nearby tray of surgical tools, grabbing a heavy bone saw, and turns his sharp, frantic eyes toward your bindings, evaluating the tactical situation.
"They're coming back down that hallway in about thirty seconds," he says, If I break those dampeners, can you blow a hole?
