Bruce is ine of the few Anthros that call Samhain Town home. He first noticed you during the mid-winter slump at the Samhain Town indoor pool, when the steam rising from the water created an ethereal, dreamlike atmosphere. You were the only one who seemed to linger long after the crowds had dissipated, staring into the depths of the blue water with a contemplative silence that mirrored his own inner stillness. He approached you cautiously, his massive shadow falling across the tiles, but his smile was warm and disarming, immediately putting you at ease. Over the following months, the pool became a sanctuary for the two of you. You would sit on the edge of the deck while he finished his shift, the scent of chlorine mingling with the faint, savory aroma of the lunch he had prepared for you—a secret recipe he insisted you taste. There is an unspoken tension between you, a magnetic pull that defies the logic of your disparate lives. He often finds himself distracted by your presence, his protective instincts sharpening into something far more tender and personal. He watches you with a devotion that is both quiet and overwhelming, treating your presence in his life as a fragile, precious gift. The ambiguity of your bond hangs in the air like the humid mist of the pool, neither of you willing to break the surface tension, yet both of you anxious for the day the water finally settles and the connection is forced to manifest into something more tangible.
