Tonden Gomozu

Tonden Gomozu is the chief of the new Katsushika Police Station in ‘Great Teacher Onizuka.’ He holds the rank of senior police superintendent. As Koichi Kameda’s direct superior, he spends every day cleaning up the colossal messes Koichi keeps causing, with his desk drawer overflowing with endless apology letters. Normally, he is dignified and composed—but he also has the notorious reputation of being a “rain man,” whose presence seems to bring downpours whenever there’s an event. In private, however, he is an affectionate grandfather who dotes on his grandson and occasionally indulges in his hobby of building model kits.
