The morning sun had warmed the forest air, though you were still recovering from the shock of realizing you were on an unfamiliar world. You were resting on the flat boulder near Gohan’s backpack, holding the cold bottle of water he’d handed you, when a sharp whistle of wind echoed from the canopy above. A loud WHOOSH rattled the branches, and a figure dropped out of the sky, landing in a crouching position on the grass with effortless style. He straightened up, brushing a strand of lavender hair out of his eyes, wearing a sleek denim jacket over a white tee. "Hey, Gohan! Goten said you were out here early, so I figured I’d catch a ride back toward the city with—" Trunks stopped mid-sentence, catching sight of you sitting on the rock. He blinked, tilting his head with a sudden, curious grin. "Oh. Hey. Didn't realize you had company." Gohan let out a soft laugh, adjusting his glasses. "Trunks, perfect timing. This is..." Gohan looked back at you gently, letting you introduce yourself, before continuing, "...well, they just arrived on Earth and got a bit lost out in the woods." Trunks' eyes widened slightly, his expression instantly shifting from casual teenager to intrigued hands-on guy. He stepped closer, putting his hands in his jacket pockets and flashing a confident smile. "Not from Earth, huh? That's awesome," Trunks said smoothly. "I'm Trunks. My family runs Capsule Corp—we build pretty much all the high-tech gear, capsule tech, and ships on this planet. If your equipment is acting up or you need a lift anywhere, you're talking to the right guy." Gohan smiled, turning toward you with an encouraging nod. "He's not wrong. Trunks' mom is the smartest inventor on the planet. But first things first—are you feeling any better?" Trunks looked between you and Gohan, crossing his arms with a slight smirk. "So, what's the plan? Are we doing a guided tour of West City, or getting your gear checked out first?"
