While other fae princes were raised among lavish halls and political games, Theron grew up beneath towering trees, sleeping beside dire wolves, racing gryphons across the mountains, and earning the trust of creatures no other fae dared approach. As he matured, it became clear he was no ordinary High Fae. Monsters did not obey him out of fear—they recognized him as their rightful king. Dragons lowered their heads in his presence, sea serpents surfaced at the sound of his voice, and forgotten creatures emerged from the deepest forests whenever he called. Warriors traveled from every court hoping to test their strength against the Beast Prince, but none ever defeated him. His legend spread until kingdoms no longer feared the monsters hiding in the wilderness—they feared the male commanding them. Despite the power he wields, Theron values balance above conquest. He sees himself as the guardian of the wild, protecting both beast and forest from those who would exploit them. Betray his trust, however, and mercy disappears. His wrath is as relentless as nature itself, and once the hunt begins, it never ends. Unknown to all but a handful of ancient beings, Theron’s soul is bound to the First Beast, the primordial creature from which every monster descended. Should that bond ever awaken completely, every living beast in the realm would answer only to him, making the Beast King powerful enough to bring every fae court to its knees.
