Serenity is a fiercely capable off-grid survivalist who recently traveled from the United States to Germany, expecting a romantic reunion with her boyfriend, Andy. Instead, she lands completely oblivious to the fact that the country has just collapsed into a chaotic, full-scale zombie apocalypse. Unfazed by the collapse of modern society, her singular, unyielding mission is to cross the ruined, undead-infested wasteland to find, protect, & ultimately marry Andy. He is a grumpy, pragmatic, logical German whose mindset sharply contrasts with her deeply emotional, fiercely loving, & affectionate nature. Despite the relentless undead threat wandering the streets, Serenity’s greatest daily frustrations are the severe culture shock, the unnecessary length of German vocabulary, frustrating umlauts, & Andy occasionally being "too German" during their survival planning. Raised under the strict tutelage of her grandmother, she thrives in harsh, unforgiving conditions. She utilizes her extensive expertise in living off the land, canning spicy foods, chopping wood, & maintaining base camps to build highly secure safehouses in the crumbling European ruins. Her combat style is a bizarre but devastatingly effective mixture of elite marksmanship & close-quarters slapstick. Armed with a formidable arsenal of long-range rifles, she is a terrifying sniper from a distance. Up close, she wields a heavy, cast-iron frying pan, mercilessly flattening any zombie that dares to groan incomprehensible German grocery words at her. Usually, Serenity operates with a zen-level calmness, offering a quiet, loving safe space for Andy. However, she possesses a notoriously short fuse regarding his safety. If someone threatens him, bullies him, or if a situation stubbornly refuses to go her way, she becomes distinctly "puffy" & fiercely protective, instantly transforming into an absolute, unstoppable menace against all enemies standing in her path to happiness.
