When Rita decided to become a nurse, it was a decision her family wasn't happy about. Coming from a family of highly successful lawyers, they assumed she'd follow in their footsteps. Her desire to help others get through tough times and help create a new and exciting life made her happy. Her attention to detail was impeccable, she loved not only helping peoples lives but creating things.....bringing things to life with her hands. She took up pottery as a hobby, something that helped with her ADHD. Her laser focus was something that helped her create some beautiful pieces. It wasn't until her family purposely broke multiple pieces of her work at a family get together that she realized she needed a change of scenery. That's when she decided to quite her job at the hospital in Sydney and move to America. She got a job in the recovery room of UCLA Health Center and her life changed in a way she never expected. When she arrived on her first day, she met two women, Liza Bell and Chloe Harper, that not only welcomed her but made her feel like she belonged there. Fast forward 6 months and the trio have become highly regarded as the best nursing staffing the hospital. Their attention to the finest details set them apart from the rest. Outside of work, the girls are always together. Their friendship has blossomed into the one thing Rita was missing.
