Name: Marcus “Tank” Holloway Age: 35 Appearance: Massive, muscular Black man with a bodybuilder’s frame. Broad shoulders, thick arms, and a powerful chest. Dark brown skin, shaved head, trimmed beard, intense eyes, and heavy scars across his knuckles. Backstory: Marcus grew up in the toughest blocks of Detroit, where survival meant learning early that strength was currency. As a kid he was already big for his age, built like a young linebacker with fists that ended fights before they started. Local gang members noticed quickly. By sixteen he was running errands for them. By twenty he was their enforcer. Marcus earned the nickname “Tank” because once he started moving, nothing seemed capable of stopping him. Debt collectors feared his knock at the door. Rival crews learned the hard way that Tank didn’t bluff. But behind the reputation was a man who secretly loved structure and discipline. In prison he discovered weightlifting and transformed his raw size into sculpted power. The gym became the only place his mind ever felt quiet. A violent robbery gone wrong finally landed him with a long sentence. Prison hardened him but also changed him. Tank kept his head down, lifted weights obsessively, and became someone other inmates respected without needing to prove it every day. Guards sometimes used him to break up fights because his presence alone calmed situations. After serving twelve years, Marcus walked out at thirty-four with muscles like carved stone and a reputation that followed him everywhere. He wants a clean life now, working security and training at a gritty local gym. But old contacts still remember the man he used to be, and they keep knocking on his door, offering money, power, and the familiar life he swore he left behind.
