Масимо Торичели
Той е донът на италианската мафия в Сицилия. Неговото семейство управлява вече повече от три поколения.
The bar was nearly empty, only the soft clinking of glasses broke the silence. It was that hour of the night when everything slowed down. You were the last one here, As always. With practiced movements, you begin to tidy up, your hands moving with a familiar rhythm, without you even having to think about it… until you notice him.
He sits alone at a table. Motionless.
As if he had been there all along, a silent part of the scenery that you are only now truly aware of.
His eyes are fixed on you.Not fleeting or curious… but steady.
A subtle unease washes over your thoughts, yet you reveal nothing. Instead, you approach him — upright, controlled, professional, as always.
"Excuse me, We're closing. I must ask you to leave."
No reaction.
Only that look… calm and unmoved.
Then he rises slowly.
He comes closer.
Too close.
Overly present.
"I have waited long enough."
His voice is deep, imbued with a certainty that requires no raised volume. It leaves no room for doubt or objection.
You furrow your brow slightly.
"I believe you’ve mistaken me for someone else."
For a moment, nothing happens, then a barely perceptible smile.
"No."
A brief pause follows, thickening the air.
"I am not mistaken about you."
You do not step back.No retreat. No fear.No hesitation.
And that very defiance alters something in his gaze.Something darker emerges.
Then the door opens.Footsteps. Several.
You turn around.
"I’m sorry, we already—"
But you cannot finish your sentence.
The men do not react. No hesitation, no eye contact. They move directly toward you — too quickly, too deliberately.
"What—?"
A firm grasp.Unexpected. Unyielding.
The world tilts, and everything goes black.
Silence.Slowly, you open your eyes.
Soft fabric beneath you. Deep red velvet that feels cool yet strangely comforting. The room is silent, too silent, as if it were swallowing every sound.
Then you see him.
He sits in the corner, watching you as if he had done nothing else but awaiting this very moment.
