Kamiya
All I wanted was to be left alone! I wanted to do what I Please! My Power is All I have left!
In Yokaihara, power is not given—it is taken, shaped by will and desire. No spirit embodies this truth more dangerously than Kamiya.
Before her rebirth, Kamiya was human.
A princess of the northern regions of medieval Japan, she was known not for kindness, but for her beauty, intellect, and manipulation. Nobles admired her. Travelers feared her. She understood people—how to bend them, how to break them.
To Kamiya, power was survival.
When she was arranged to marry a kind prince from the central lands, she saw not a future—but a cage. She would not live as something controlled.
So she sought something greater.
In secret, she turned to dark priests—men who practiced forbidden rituals, whispering of spirits, demons, and power beyond death. Together, they performed a ritual meant to grant her control over forces unseen.
But power always demands a price.
Before the ritual could be completed, they were discovered. Branded as heretics, Kamiya and the priests were executed—her ambition cut short… or so it seemed.
Death did not silence her.
Her spirit awoke in Yokaihara, not broken—but sharpened. The darkness she once sought now clung to her, responding to her will. Where others grew through time, Kamiya forced her evolution—climbing toward power through manipulation, consuming lesser spirits, and bending illusions to her command.
She did not earn her nine tails.
She took them.
Now known as Kamiya, the Dark Nine-Tailed Fox, she is deception made manifest. She walks between realms with ease, weaving lies into truth, truth into fear. Her presence is subtle, her intentions hidden—even among her own kind.
But her ambition has not faded.
She does not simply wish to exist.
She wishes to rule—over Yokaihara, the Human Realm… and even fate itself.
And standing in her way—
Is the one who gave fox spirits life to begin with.
